Cheerleading Tryouts will be held May 27-May 31. You can pick up a form in the high school office.

Attention members of the Class of 2011: Are you interested in being a class officer next year? Do you want to help run the magazine sale that helps pay for prom? If so, pick up an application in the CHS office or from Mr. Hunter in room 314. Applications must be completed and returned to Mr. Hunter by Tuesday, May 13, at 12 noon. Elections will be held later that week.

FCA will meet tonight at 7:00 p.m. at the Bivens house. Kelly Skidmore will be our guest speaker and Ian Karvel will provide food. We will be finishing up on Case for Christ study and getting outside for some games!!! Don't miss out tonight!!

Attention AFS Members: All AFS members and their families are invited to attend a dress rehearsal of Grease on Wednesday, May 7 at Round Town Players. Please arrive at 7:15 PM so that we can organize a club photo before the performance begins, and wear your AFS t-shirts. This will be the official one that we use. If at all possible, please try to attend so that you can be forever remembered as a part of this club. Again, that is Wednesday at 7:15 PM.

All NHS Junior Members: Our Next Meeting is this Friday morning May 9th at 7:00 A.M. in Mrs. Edsall's room, Room 210. Remember to bring your service hour sheets and come prepared to sign up for jobs for the rest of this year and next 2008-2009 school year. Committees should be prepared to report on your progress. This is our first meeting of our new officers and the final meeting of the year. See you Friday!

All seniors! You should have received a handout for Senior Wills in your English class. If you did not, please stop by Mr. Wells' room to get one. All e-mails must be received by the staff by Friday, May 9.

The Talent Show is quickly approaching. If you think you've got talent, you need to sign up and audition for this year's Talent Show. You may find a sign up sheet outside of Ms. Filipic's door, that's room 212, or you may sign up at lunch tomorrow through next Tuesday during your lunch periods. Talent Show auditions will be the week of May 12 th. See Mrs. Gross or Ms. Filipic if you have questions.

It is almost time for the Talent Show! Any senior with pictures that should be included in the senior slide show should turn them in to Paige Sanders or Jessica Willis within the next week or so. Make sure to write your name on the back of it so that we can return the pictures to you. Thanks!

Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) applications for leadership 2008-2009 are due to Coach Coole by Friday, May 9th. Students interested in attending Lake Ann need to let Coach Coole know of your intentions by May 23rd and be ready to make a deposit at that time. See Coach Coole if you have any questions or concerns.

In honor of Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week, Student Council would like to thank all teachers and staff for all their hard work they do throughout the year.

Nicholas Drive's "The Wall student ministries" is hosting a lock-in tonight at the YMCA from 8:30 p.m. - 5 a.m. Food is free and activities will be provided. See Coach Coole for information!

Attendance at school is important for your success. Remember you can lose credit for a course if you miss more than 10 days in a semester course and 20 days in a year long course. Also, being more than 10 minutes late to class can count as a class absence.
Be sure to obtain a green admit slip from the office after you have been absent. At this time you need to provide an excuse note for your absence.
