Student Wellness & Success Plan
Ohio law mandates that all school districts formulate a plan for the allocation of Disadvantaged Pupil Impact Aid (DPIA) and Student Wellness and Success Funds (SWSF). These plans are essential for ensuring that the funds are used effectively to support the needs of disadvantaged students and to enhance student wellness. The law requires that districts collaborate with community partners, such as local health departments and nonprofit organizations, to develop strategies that address the specific challenges faced by students, aiming to improve academic outcomes and overall well-being.
In addition, the law requires districts to post those plans on school websites and present the same at public meetings of the board of education.
